1. Vendor Eligibility & Registration

To register and operate as a Vendor on HahuExpress, you must meet the following criteria:

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
• Accurate Information: You must provide complete, truthful, and verifiable personal or business registration details, including valid contact and payout information.
• Legal Compliance: You must comply with all applicable commercial, tax, and consumer protection laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

HahuExpress reserves the sole right to verify credentials, approve, or reject any vendor registration application at its discretion.

2. Core Vendor Responsibilities

As an independent seller on our marketplace, you are solely and exclusively responsible for:

• Product Listings: Creating accurate titles, clear images, and detailed descriptions for all items listed.
• Pricing & Inventory: Maintaining transparent pricing and real-time stock availability to prevent overselling.
• Quality & Authenticity: Ensuring that all goods sold are genuine, free from defects, and match the listed description.
• Order Fulfillment & Support: Processing orders promptly and maintaining professional, responsive communication with buyers.

3. Prohibited Products & Activities

Prohibited Items

Vendors are strictly prohibited from listing, promoting, or selling the following on HahuExpress:

• Illegal, contraband, counterfeit, or unauthorized replica goods.
• Stolen property or items lacking legal ownership rights.
• Dangerous, hazardous, expired, or legally restricted products (including weapons, illicit drugs, or unapproved medical items).
• Offensive, obscene, defamatory, or fraudulent materials.

Prohibited Conduct

Vendors must not engage in any of the following practices:

• Posting duplicate, fake, or "bait-and-switch" listings.
• Artificial price manipulation or deceptive discount claims.
• Conducting fraudulent transactions or directing buyers into unsafe off-platform payment schemes.
• Intentionally misrepresenting product condition, brand origin, or specifications.

4. Orders, Shipping & Delivery

To maintain high marketplace reliability, Vendors are required to:

• Confirm and process customer orders promptly upon receipt.
• Dispatch and deliver items within the agreed-upon or stated shipping timelines.
• Proactively communicate any unforeseen shipping delays to the buyer.

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, the Vendor bears full responsibility for secure packaging, applicable shipping arrangements, and the risk of loss or damage until the item is successfully delivered to the buyer.

5. Returns, Refunds & Dispute Resolution

Vendors must uphold fair post-sale practices in alignment with the HahuExpress Return & Refund Policy:

• Clearly disclose store-specific return, exchange, and warranty terms on product listings.
• Respond to buyer return or replacement requests promptly and professionally.
• Issue timely refunds or replacements for damaged, defective, or misrepresented items.

While HahuExpress may step in to mediate disputes between buyers and sellers, Vendors remain financially and legally responsible for fulfilling valid customer refunds.

6. Ratings, Reviews & Feedback Integrity

Customer reviews and ratings are essential to building trust across the HahuExpress community:

• Buyers have the right to leave honest feedback based on their purchasing experience.
• Vendors must never manipulate ratings, post fake reviews, offer illicit incentives for positive feedback, or harass customers who leave critical reviews.
• Consistent negative feedback or high order-defect rates may trigger a formal account review, listing demotion, or suspension.

7. Platform Fees & Payments

• Depending on the selected account tier or promotional category, listing products on HahuExpress may be free or subject to service/featured fees.
• Vendors are responsible for paying any applicable commission, subscription, or promotional fees, as well as applicable local taxes.
• Any updates to fee structures or payment schedules will be communicated transparently to registered Vendors in advance.

Vendors utilizing HahuExpress promotional tools or advertising features must ensure that all marketing claims are truthful, substantiated, and free from spam or misleading comparisons.

HahuExpress operates solely as a digital venue connecting independent sellers with buyers. We are not liable for product defects, delivery failures, financial losses, or disputes arising between Vendors and customers.

11. Buyer Data Protection & Privacy

Vendors receive customer personal data (such as names, phone numbers, and delivery addresses) strictly for the purpose of fulfilling orders. Vendors must:

• Keep all buyer information strictly confidential and secure.
• Never sell, share, or use customer contact details for unauthorized marketing or spam.
• Comply with our Privacy Policy and all applicable data protection regulations.

12. Policy Updates

HahuExpress may revise or update this Seller & Vendor Policy periodically to reflect operational or legal changes. Continued use of your Vendor account following any posted updates constitutes your binding acceptance of the revised policy.
