1. Order Cancellation & Return Period

Subject to vendor terms and eligible product categories, you have the right to request an order cancellation or return:

• Within 30 calendar days from the date on which you received the product.
• Without being required to state a specific reason for eligible standard items.

2. Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a valid return and refund, please ensure that the following conditions are met:

• The product was purchased and delivered within the last 30 days.
• The item is unused, undamaged, in its original condition, and inside its original packaging with all tags, manuals, and accessories intact.
• You have a valid proof of purchase (order number, receipt, or invoice).

Non-Returnable Items

The following categories of goods are strictly exempt from being returned:

• Customized or Personalized Goods: Items made to your specifications or clearly personalized.
• Perishable Goods: Products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly (such as food, beverages, or fresh items).
• Hygiene & Health Products: Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, once unsealed after delivery.
• Inseparably Mixed Items: Goods which, after delivery, according to their nature, are inseparably mixed with other items.

Note: Individual vendors may apply additional category-specific return restrictions as stated on their product listings.

3. Returning Goods & Shipping Responsibility

When returning an item, the following shipping rules apply:

• Return Costs & Risk: You are responsible for paying the cost of returning the goods and bear the risk of loss or damage during return transit.
• Return Destination: Unless directed otherwise for a specific vendor, returned items should be sent to: Bole Sub City, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
• Recommended Shipping Method: We strongly advise using a trackable and insured delivery service. We cannot issue a refund without actual receipt of the returned item or verifiable proof of return delivery.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is damaged in transit, manufacturing-defective, or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us immediately upon delivery.

In such cases, HahuExpress will:

• Assist you in communicating directly with the respective vendor.
• Help facilitate a prompt replacement, repair, or full refund in accordance with marketplace buyer protection standards.

5. Gifts

• Items Marked as a Gift: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit or voucher for the value of your return once the returned item is received.
• Items Not Marked as a Gift: If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, the refund will be issued directly to the original purchaser.

6. Vendor Responsibility & Platform Liability

Because HahuExpress operates as an intermediary multi-vendor platform, individual vendors remain directly responsible for:

• Ensuring product quality and accurate descriptions.
• Accepting and inspecting valid returns.
• Authorizing and processing customer refunds.

While HahuExpress actively assists in mediating disputes between buyers and sellers, we are not legally liable for independent vendor decisions or product defects.
